About Me
In my 27 years of development experience, I have raised more than $100 million. This success has come from collaborating with fundraising teammates, heads of school, boards of trustees, and availing myself of a multitude of professional development opportunities.
In June 2020, I concluded 12 years serving as the Director of Development at Lick-Wilmerding High School, which has an enrollment of 550 students from across the San Francisco Bay Area, is 56% students of color, and has a deep commitment to financial diversity and support. While at LWHS, the fundraising team, board, volunteers, and I increased the Annual Fund by 125% and conducted the biggest capital campaign in the school’s history.
Prior to LWHS, I was a Senior Development Officer at the University of Virginia, where I cultivated and solicited high-net worth parents and worked with a national parent board on the University’s $3 billion campaign. From 1999-2007, I was the Director of Alumni & Development at The Hamlin School, a K-8 independent girls’ school in San Francisco.
Born and raised in New York City, I began my career at schools in New York (The Hackley School
and Staten Island Academy) and Connecticut (Greenwich Academy). Nearly every position has been about helping children - be that coaching sports teams, running summer camps, serving as an advisor to middle school and high school students, or raising significant sums for financial assistance, better campus infrastructure, or additional programming. I greatly appreciate the communities of schools and nonprofits, and will always work to build relationships based on trust in order to move forward together.
I received a BA in Communications from The College of Wooster (OH) where I was a member of the women’s varsity swim team. Currently, I live and work in beautiful Mill Valley, CA and am a member of the Mount Tamalpais School Board of Trustees. Prior board service includes Black Pine Circle School, Enterprise for High School Students, the National Coalition of Girls’ Schools, and Faces SF.
